How to Do a Quick Weave

By

For a lovely new hairstyle, you should try a quick weave.

This is a technique that bonds track hair to natural hair, to give it a flat, but natural look. It’s very low maintenance and can be used for different hairstyles, whether short, long, straight or wavy.

If you want to try this stylish hairstyle without having to go to a salon, here’s what to do.

What You’ll Need:

  • Hair weave
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Rat-tailed comb
  • Hair dryer
  • Foam wrapping lotion
  • Hair glue
  • Stocking cap

Procedure:

Wash your hair before you begin. Make sure you use conditioner, too. Making a quick weave is easier if your hair is clean and oil-free. Don’t let your hair dry, though.

Use foam wrapping lotion to soak your hair.

Use a circular motion to wrap your hair, going around and around until it’s molded in a circle. This makes your hair completely flat.

Use a hair dryer and put it at medium setting, then let your hair dry completely under it. This will allow the weave to stay longer when you put it on. If you fail to dry your hair properly, the weave will come loose easily.

Get a stocking cap and put it on your head, making sure it’s all covered. This will prevent you from getting glue on your natural locks.

Put on the weave. Begin at the back or at your nape. Make sure you measure the track weave from one ear to another. Cut this, then put glue on the track weave. Put the weave at the back of your head. When you get to the crown, stop.

Put the weave to the front of your head. Measure the track from ear to ear, then cut it. Put glue on the track, then apply to your head. Keep going until you reach the crown of your head. Apply the weave in a circular pattern. If you do this properly, a small circle will be left at your head’s top.

Make a closure piece for the top of your head. Use a two-inch part of the extension hair. Put glue on the track, then roll it and let the glue dry. Separate your hair, at the roll’s middle.

Put on the closure piece. Apply glue to it, then put at the crown of the head. Press it down, to apply pressure and secure the piece.

Style your quick weave.
A quick weave will certainly give your hair a stylish appearance. With these easy steps, you can try this popular look without much hassle!
